For all you white and black lovers, you’ll love this outfit. I wanted an outfit that would be cute enough for a daytime bridal shower yet edgy enough for a dinner on the town later that evening. Capes have been one of, if not THE, biggest trend this season and I can’t get enough. It’s the perfect combo of classy meets edge and spruces up almost any outfit.
There are a lot of ways to style a cape. One of my favorites is pairing it with a contrasting colored top so that the slits on the cape are in full view. I paired this white mid-length cape with a patterned black and grey top. It made for a great combo because the contrast in colors really stood out. I wore white skinny pants to stay within the color scheme.
I wore a smoked charcoal colored scarf that matched the black and grey hues just right. Of course it’s a KINZA scarf and this one is in the silk chiffon fabric. ***KINZA offers a special deal for all PFH followers – be sure to enter shipPFH in the promo code on your next KINZA purchase to get FREE RETURNS in case the scarf doesn’t work out for you (if you have commitment issues I know you’re cyber-hugging me right now, I gochuu ;))
As for my heels, I’m rocking my latest obsession: the vinyl heel with the point toe. You guys already know how much I love these babies. We’re talking about class + edge and these heels epitomize that! I added a nice anklet to it for that special touch.
