I have to do a special post dedicated to the AMAZING move H&M just pulled. In its latest campaign video entitled “Close the Loop” they featured for the very first time a hijabi woman named Mariah Idrissi! She wore a very modest outfit consisting of a long overcoat with wid-leg pants. The ad described her covered look as “chic”. This is a milestone for hijabis to be featured in a campaign ad by such an esteemed and mainstream fashion house. A very very very special thank you to H&M for being so inclusive and open minded with your choice of image portrayal. You will forever have my support!
