After the success of the first PFH Trunk Show that took place in McLean, Virginia, I was eager to host another one once I got back to California. I actually started planning it while I was in VA from how excited I was. There was a little over a month between the two shows. I had bigger visions for the second one since I knew what to expect after having hosted the first one.
I doubled up on the amount of inventory I featured. I also added a designer collection of long sleeve dresses, as well as a high end hijab label called SHONO - in addition to Austere Attire and Kinza Scarves. I marketed the show to women from Los Angeles to Orange County to San Diego. It was hosted in Irvine at my gracious friend's home on Sunday September 21st, 2014. I was blown away by the success of it alhamdulelah. Doors opened at 12pm yet people were at the door by 11:45am; just like what happened at the trunk show in Virginia. Over 150 ladies showed up and we sold out of popular sizes within 30 minutes!
It was a lovely and memorable Sunday afternoon. My favorite part? Getting to meet a lot of PFH followers and hear from them about what they're looking for so I have a clearer idea on how to cater to them and their specific needs. As always, so thankful to everyone who supported PFH and made the show a success to remember!
Special thank you to r&m Photography for beautifully capturing the event!
