I promised you all that I’d be sharing a video of behind the scenes footage from my trip to Facebook and Instagram headquarters and here it is! It was so incredibly inspiring to be able to see the backend of operations at the place that has changed the way people socialize and connect. Haven’t you ever wondered what it’s like to be at Facebook? We don’t realize it but Facebook and Instagram are such an integral part of so many of our lives, whether we use it to keep in touch with friends and family, or to get our main dose of news, or to promote our brands and companies. It’s incredible to see how these social networking companies changed the way the world connects with each other.
Facebook Headquarters is located in Menlo Park, California. They call it “The Facebook Campus” because it spans more than 430,000 square feet consisting of multiple buildings with unique artistic designs, a variety of places to eat, socialize, relax, and even play sports. Its design is very futuristic and like many Silicon Valley enterprises, it’s layout is intended to fuel the creative genius.
Of course the expansive cafeteria was one of my favorite places. They offer every single kind of cuisine for almost every type of diet. They have the coveted Blue Bottle Coffee Shop on campus as well as Philz (my fav!) The list of goodies doesn’t end.
During my time there I happened to run into Mark Zuckerberg and was totally star struck! He looked exactly like the way he does on media outlets: casual, calm, and collected. It was a Friday night and the building was practically empty, but like a true patron he was there working late into the evening. Mad respect for his work ethic that’s for sure.
I hope you enjoy this video and get a glimpse into this magical place that has changed the world forever! Have you ever been to Facebook & Instagram Headquarters? Let me know what you think in the comments below!
