I know I live in LA and am by default supposed to love Sprinkles Cupcakes, but I will forever be a Georgetown DC Cupcake girl. I just can't get enough! Don't get me wrong I definitely like Sprinkles (especially the sprinkles cupcake + icecream combo YUM) but I prefer Gtown Cupcakes for a few reasons:

1) They are smaller in size, which allows you to have more than one without feeling so guilty. Sprinkles are wayy too big

2) The cake is much more moist and fluffy

3) DC cupcakes have a better variety of flavors - my favs are: German chocolate fudge (which is OUT OF THIS WORLD), lava fudge, red velvet, carrot cake, salted caramel, peanut butter fudge. 

There you have it, that's just my two cents :) If you've never tried them then you need to. I love catering from them for special events too. They have 6 locations in the states:
